Just as the title suggests, this is a handy page which uses sentences in context to illustrate the difference between commonly-confused words, such as "effect" and "affect".

English for University is an excellent site for students hoping to pursue post-secondary studies in an English-speaking institution. It was created by Patrick McMahon and is very comprehensive.
